Housing Maintainer 


Currently Baffinland is looking for a number of Housing Maintaner. Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor, the Housing Maintainer will be responsible for performing general building and property maintenance including preventative maintenance and urgent repairs.


This is a permanent position based at site with a 2 week Fly-In, Fly-Out rotation

Main Accountabilities


  • Previous experience being an OIL BURNER Mechanic
  • Perform skilled and semi-skilled housing maintenance and repair work.
  • Maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Coordinate the day to day operation of the maintenance department.
  • This position is also responsible for the upkeep and preservation of grounds.

Main Qualifications


  • Minimum 5 year experience in the operation and maintenance of buildings
  • Able to create alternative solutions to problems
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
