    Reporting to the Corporate HR Manager the HR Administrator will provide valuable and efficient administrative and office support to the Human Resources team of Baffinland.

    Main Accountabilities

    • Input New Hires data in SAP and Validation of data
    • Creation of change forms, completing HR activity reports – inputting action in SAP; filing in EE electronic folders
    • Support payroll input and validation on payroll submission days
    • Moving terminated EE files electronically and in filing cabinets
    • Schedule uploads for all new hires to ADP
    • ADP EZ labour support, login support, enter OT Adjustment and assigning security groups
    • Maintain information in Hubbub, New Hires, Changes and Terminations
    • GWL enrollments and benefits support
    • Submit Taxable life every payroll, maintain welcome plan and updating dependent information
    • Uploading all vacation quotas for new hires in SAP
    • Sign-On bonus tracker update
    • Disability claims update
    • Monthly termination reports to IT, SAP and Homewood
    • Supporting Audits
    • Responding and supporting all Employee queries
    • All filing to be shared with Recruiting Administrator
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Main Qualifications

    • Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship    building and leadership
    • Minimum 1-year Human Resources experience with some Payroll is preferred
    • Post-secondary HR related Degree/Diploma/Certificate or equivalent HR related experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and within a team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong customer service orientation - ability to effectively communicate HR initiatives, functions, policies and procedures
    • Strong Computer skills - MS Office, experience with SAP is a definite asset
    • Payroll experience preferred
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
    • Experience working in a fast paced, changing environment
