    Reporting to the Corporate HR Manager the Recruitment Administrator will provide valuable and efficient administrative and office support to the Human Resources team of Baffinland.

    Main Accountabilities

    • Responsible for post offer process to complete the full recruitment cycle – includes completion of Garda, Medical, written offer and closing positions in ICIMS
    • One point of contact for all potential new hires
    • Updating new hire tracker in excel
    • Sending onboarding; SAP/IT; Deployment forms
    • Creating EE files (hard copy and electronic) and filing
    • Maintaining Organizational Charts and ensuring that all changes are captured in real time
    • Hubbub organizational chart preview
    • Supporting travel arrangements and accommodations for trainees
    • Preparing Expense Reports
    • Back-up for HR Coordinator
    • Preparing Camp premium reconciliation for last payroll of each month
    • Sending Probationary report on a monthly basis to all Department Managers
    • Validating New Hires as a back up for HR Coordinator
    • All filing will be shared with HR Coordinator
    • Other duties as assigned

    Main Qualifications

    • Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship  building and leadership
    • Minimum 1-year Human Resources experience is preferred
    • Post-secondary HR related Degree/Diploma/Certificate or equivalent HR related experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and within a team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong customer service orientation - ability to effectively communicate HR initiatives, functions, policies and procedures
    • Strong Computer skills - MS Office, experience with SAP is a definite asset
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
    • Experience working in a fast paced, changing environment
