Report directly to the Manager, Environmental, Social and Governance and work closely with the Baffinland Community Liaison Officers (BLCOs), and Shipping Monitors to support the daily functions associated with any relevant environmental monitoring activities that may be occurring in the community and region, and provide liaison between the community of Pond Inlet, the Mittimatalik Hunters and Trappers Organization (MHTO), hunters, Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA), relevant local environmental non-governmental organizations and governmental agencies, as well as university researchers and Baffinland.
The role is based in Pond Inlet and open to Pond Inlet Inuit applicants.
