Reporting to the Manager of Site Coordination ,Supply & Logistics We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily operations of our Site supply chain processes. This role will focus on ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain activities, from working with procurement to distribution, while optimizing performance and maintaining high levels of service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain best practices.

 

Main Accountabilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of Warehouse Supervisors, ensuring effective coordination between procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Oversee and manage the flow of goods and materials, ensuring on-time delivery and minimal disruption in the supply chain process.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics (e.g., Fill-rates, cycle counts lead, materials management & cost-efficiency) and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (production, and procurement ) to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure the best possible efficiency in parts fulfillment , quality, and service.
  • Manage the resolution of supply chain issues, working with cross-functional teams to address challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards in supply chain operations.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and planning for future supply chain needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define strategic goals and align departmental improvements with business objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and track strategic plans, ensuring that all initiatives support the business long-term.
  • Monitor operations trends and changes, proposing adjustments within the department to meet organizational strategy needs.
  • Lead the execution of Continuous improvements projects across the department, identifying Inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
  • Utilize Measurable methodologies and KPI’s to track the impact and success of continuous improvements.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and proactive problem solving within the team.
  • Analyze the existing processes and systems to identify bottlenecks and areas to streamline.
  • Lead the Warehouse supervisors through mapping and gap analysis to pin point areas of opportunities to optimize department processes.
  • Develop and maintain standardized procedures to ensure consistency across the department.
  • Provide leadership and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and performance driven department.
  • Facilitate workshops with the supervisors and the warehouse teams for training sessions, and educating employees on improvement tools, techniques, and the whys.
  • Report regularly on the status of improvements to the Superintendent & manager of Port & Logistics.

Main Qualifications

  • High School Diploma - Required
  • At least 10 years of supervisor leadership experience, and Supply Chain, Inventory Management
  • College Diploma (Parts ticket, Supply chain management (CSCP)(CPIM)) preferred
