HVAC Technician

• Install HVAC components such as control devices and associated wiring,
• Install, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Respond to emergency calls may take place anytime: days, evenings or weekends.
• Reassemble, adjust and test the repaired mechanism.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services
• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle conditions and future repair requirements.

• Red Seal Heating and Refrigeration Technician
• 5 years of experience working in the trade
• Exceptional mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Energetic and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• good computer skills, some knowledge of SAP and parts tracking systems
• Ability to manage time effectively, while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities
• Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English (Inuktitut would be an asset).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to climb ladders
• Experience with Mentoring Apprentices
• Physically fit to perform all aspects of job
